I treat all of my client programmes with the utmost confidentiality. For this reason, I won’t provide any client names in my case studies.

CASE STUDY 1:

Social media programme to support M&A

Client:

A major global provider of engineering services

Challenge:

To make political decision-makers favourably disposed towards the high-profile competitive acquisition of a European industrial giant.

Activity:

A fully-integrated 6-month social media programme including proactive content development, monitoring & reactive content recommendations, social media advertising, online influencer engagement campaign, KPI-setting/benchmarking, fortnightly reporting and evaluation.

Results:

Political stakeholders were engaged online, political authorities approved the acquisition, and the take-over was completed.

CASE STUDY 2:

Online profile-raising at international conference

Client:

A climate change finance-focused think tank

Challenge:

To leverage online channels to complement the client’s offline efforts to raise its profile, and influence the debate at the UK climate change talks in Paris (COP21).

Activity:

A short-and-sharp strategic Twitter campaign over 3 weeks - including audience research, proactive content development, social media advertising, online influencer audit and targeting, evaluation.

Results:

Client’s reach increased five-fold over the period, engagement grew five-fold, follower base increased by 11% - including key influencers from policy, industry, NGOs and the media..

CASE STUDY 3:

Development of online presence across five markets

Client:

An oil-and-gas supermajor

Challenge:

To establish an online presence across five key Eastern European markets in which the client was looking to set up operations, and start a debate around shale gas and shale oil.

Activity:

A multi-market programme including digital landscape analyses, website setup, content development, strategic counsel on social media, community management, monthly reporting, online influencer engagement strategy.

Results:

Online assets developed in support of the programme - five local-language websites launched, four interactive timelines designed and built, three local social media channels launched. User engagement with content increased by 40%.

CASE STUDY 4:

Integrated digital, PR & advertising campaign

Client:

Trade association for the utilities sector

Challenge:

To raise awareness of the issue of unclaimed credits among customers of the energy industry, and in time, to change consumer behaviour.

Activity:

Development of a web portal including design of end-to-end customer experience, traditional PR campaign (print, radio, TV), supplemented by an advertising campaign (print, radio).

Results:

The digital/PR campaign reached at least 2 million people and was covered in all the major print and broadcast outlets, with the advertising campaign reaching a further 11 million people at least.

CASE STUDY 5:

User insight & website development

Client:

A consultancy based in London & Singapore

Challenge:

To redevelop the client’s website in a way which supports the company’s business priorities, while also meeting user needs.

Activity:

User research combining audience insight and website analytics, development of user personas journeys, definition of user journeys. Web design and web build in partnership with Version2 agency.

Results:

Number of users increased by 53%, web referrals by 149% and search engine referrals by 41%.
